Take a trip back down memory lane, and eat at The Salem Cross Inn. It was recently featured in Foodies Magazine. Located in the beautiful New England countryside, this historic 18th century home is a Colonial experience. It's robust with history. The menu offers a variety of seasonal selections with all of the classic American traditions. There's always a special occasion happening at the Inn. Food and Landmark


The Hyland Orchard and Brewery is a definite must see landmark. The gorgeous 150-acre farm regularly hosts free outdoor concerts for the public. There's plenty to do at this scenic facility. Pick your own apples, sample some delicious beer or listen to music while you walk around the farm. Late August through November, they even provide tractor rides and animal petting. Art and Culture


If you love art and culture, then you have to visit Old Sturbridge Village. It's earned bragging rights as the largest outdoor museum in the Northeast. Go back in time, as you walk through the recreated 1830 New England village. You'll be treated to demonstrations of crafts and cooking from that era and learn about the history from storytellers dressed in period costumes. Take in the peacefulness of the Quinebaug River.
